Peruvian government extends suspension of flights from Brazil, South Africa and U.K. until 15 May because of COVID-19
From media reports: UOL reported that Peru on Monday, 3rd May, extended until 15th May the suspension of flights from Brazil, South Africa and the U.K. as a way to prevent the entry of new variants of the coronavirus, at a time when the country faces a second deadly wave of the pandemic.
"Actions to limit the risks of contagion of COVID-19 remain. Therefore, the Ministry of Transport has extended the suspension of flights from the United Kingdom, South Africa and Brazil, from May 1st to 15th," the Ministry said in a statement.
