Airlines suspend flights to China due to Coronavirus

The following airlines have currently suspended flights to China due to the coronavirus:

British Airways has suspended all direct flights to and from mainland China after Britain warned against all but essential travel to the country.

United Airlines have said it would suspend some China flights next month because of a "significant decline in demand" to the country as it battles the growing number of coronavirus cases.

Air Canada are cancelling select flights to China to better match capacity with expected demand as the spread of the new coronavirus rattles travellers.

Azerbaijan Airlines are to suspend flights to Beijing from February due to coronavirus outbreak and low demand.

Air Astana cancels some flights to China.    

Lion Air to suspend all flights to China from 1st February.     

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all travel to Hubei Province due to the ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak and recommend if you're in this area and able to leave you should do so.  

They have advised against all but essential travel to the rest of mainland China.

Several airlines are monitoring the situation but in the meantime some flights have been cancelled or routes adjusted accordingly.  

Passengers are advised to check with the airline the status of their flight.
