Workers at London Heathrow Airport are set to take industrial action throughout the summer.

The strikes will involve employees coming from every section of the airport, including security guards, engineers, passenger service operatives and passenger service drivers. 

The proposed dates are Friday 26th July and Saturday 27th July, Monday 5th August and Tuesday 6th August, Friday 23rd August and Saturday 24th August.

A spokesperson for Heathrow Airport has confirmed contingency plans will be in place to ensure the airport remains open and operating safely throughout any coordinated action.
