Workers at Aberdeen & Glasgow Airports to strike
Workers at Aberdeen & Glasgow Airports to strike
We have been advised from a direct source at the airport that although strike action is taking place, it is business as usual as there are robust contingency plans in place.
Workers at Aberdeen & Glasgow Airports have voted for strike action over a pay and pension dispute and will take industrial action on Friday 7 June and Monday 10 June from 4am until 4pm.
Further strike action will take place at Glasgow Airport on Friday 14 June with a four-hour stoppage, between 4am and 8am.
The strikes will involve employees coming from every section of the airports, including security and fire service.
