All flights taking off from Bristol Airport have been temporarily grounded until staff are able to clear the runways and Bournemouth Airport has also been temporarily shut, meaning possible delays and cancellations to hundreds of flights in south-west England.  

A number of flights have been cancelled to and from Heathrow airport due to the adverse weather conditions, British Airways have been forced to cancel and merge a number of short-haul flights to ensure that they protect the rest of their schedule.
