Ryanair's Spanish Pilots to strike
Spanish pilots union SEPLA have announced it would call a nationwide strike among Ryanair pilots for five days in September, in protest at plans to close several bases in the country.
A spokesperson said around 900 pilots would be invited to strike on 19th, 20th, 22nd, 27th and 29th September. Some of these dates coincide with strikes already planned by the airline's cabin crew in Spain.
Passengers are advised to check with the airline the status of their flight.
